All-metal build, multi-layered lacquer and gold-plated trim. Barrel band is inscribed with 'Diplomat since 1922' and 'made in Germany'. Gold-plated sprung pocket clip. End cap features the Diplomat branding.

Smooth, twist-action mechanism. Refill with 0.7mm leads.
