IKKAKU is a range of beautifully crafted pens, made from premium ebonite, and coated in layers of urushi lacquer in a process that takes months to complete. Layers of decoration and lacquer are build up by hand, with careful attention to detail.
Dragonfly design features dragonflies in flight across the pen barrel, made from carefully shaped pieces of shell, embedded in layers of urushi lacquer using the Japanese 'raden' technique. Tiny flecks of gold between layers of lacquer add the feeling of sunbeams.
149mm long, 13mm wide, weights 37g. 14-carat gold nib. Cartridge/converter filled, or use silicone grease to use as an eyedropper-filled pen.
