IKKAKU is a range of beautifully crafted pens, made from premium ebonite, and coated in layers of urushi lacquer in a process that takes months to complete. Layers of decoration and lacquer are build up by hand, with careful attention to detail.
Iridescent pieces of shell embedded in the urushi lacquer by the Japanese 'raden' technique are shaped like the scales of a snake, while the clip is a snake, slithering up the pen's cap.
149mm long, 13mm wide, weights 37g. 14-carat gold nib. Cartridge/converter filled, or use silicone grease to use as an eyedropper-filled pen.
