Jacques Herbin 1798 Inks Collection 50ml
The 1798 Inks Collection from Herbin has been produced to commemorate the year that Jacques Herbin introduced his own line of inks, over a century after the Herbin company was first established in Paris, when Louis XIV was only 32 years old. The first inks included Encre violette, which was used in schools, Perle des Encres and l'Encre des voyageurs.
This collection features a range of beautiful colours enhanced by the inclusion of silver particles.
Diamant Blue is a deep blue with silver shimmer, inspired by the rare blue diamond from India. Expected to ship late September.
Amethyste de l'Oural - or Ural Amethyst - is a deep velvety purple, with the silver particles adding a satin finish for a lustrous effect.
Cornaline d'Egypte - or Egyptian carnelian - is a beautiful golden orange, shot through with shades of red and ochre.
Kyanite du Nepal - or Nepalese Kyanite - is a bright turquoise-blue, reminiscent of kyanite, the 'noble mineral'.
