Kaweco Liliput Capped Ballpoint Pen Fireblue
At last - the Liliput Fireblue Ballpoint Pen!
The same thing happened to this capped ballpoint as it did to the fountain pen - in a basement somewhere at Kaweco HQ, a crew of pyromaniac penthusiasts liberally applied a blowtorch to a collection of Liliputs. Not mindless vandalism but part of a process that yields the beautiful Liliput Fireblue. The surface of a steel Liliput is tempered in a flame to not only harden the outer surface but to give it a beautiful varied finish with tones of blue, purple, brown and orange.
As each pen is tempered by hand, the finish varies between pens, so you'll be unlikely to find any two pens that are exactly the same.
Just 95mm long closed, the cap screws onto the end to create a pen 125mm long. Barrel diameter is 9mm.
Supplied in a Kaweco gift tin. Uses standard 'D1' refills.
