Set of 6 shades of Gansai Tambi paints in opal colours. They have been individually pigmented and are ideal for adding shimmer and shine to your artworks.

Gansai Tambi are high-quality Japanese handmade, solid watercolours that behave in a similar way to gouache. When applied thickly the finish is a gentle sheen rather than the matte usually offered by watercolours.

These paints work well with waterbrushes as they can be used to easily wet the paint pans, allowing you to work from them directly.

Apply thickly for extremely vibrant colour, even on dark coloured paper and card. Apply thinly for a highly translucent yet still very vivid effect.
