LEUCHTTURM1917 Drehgriffel Gel Pen Navy
This is something a little unusual. Firstly, it's produced by a company that is better known for its notebooks - Leuchtturm1917. Secondly, the design is distinctly retro; this is because it's a revival of a writing instrument that was around in the 1920s. Thirdly, it looks a bit like a mechanical pencil, but it's not; it's a gel pen.
This is the Drehgriffel No 1: it means 'twist stylus'. The hexagonal barrel is precision-milled aluminium and brass and finished in Navy, to match the Leuchtturm1917 notebook cover. The barrel end employs a spring-loaded twist mechanism to extend the tip.
Japanese gel pen with a ceramic ball tip for extra fine lines. Smooth writing with fine contours. Gel ink for easy and flowing handwriting. Line stroke width of 0.5mm. Creates fine writing with a clear outline.
