Montblanc Masters of Art Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir Limited Edition Fountain Pen Medium
Part of Montblanc's Masters of Art collection, this pen pays homage to celebrated impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Made from olive wood, to celebrate the olive trees in Renoir's garden, the wooden barrel is daubed in paint, in the artist's style. The clip is gold-coated, and shaped like two paintbrushes, one large and one small, as Renoir used to paint bold areas and fine details.
The Montblanc logo in the end of the cap is set in ultramarine precious resin, and the year 1874 is engraved in the ring around the logo. 1874 is seen as the birth of impressionism, when the early impressionist artists had their first exhibition. The gold nib features an engraved fan, as features in many of Renoir's paintings.
Supplied in a luxury giftbox.
