Octopus Sheen Fountain Pen Ink 30ml

Specialists in all things ink, Octopus Fluids are a German ink producer based in Dresden, Germany. They were founded in 2011 but their roots go back to 1826 under the August Leonhardi and Baroque brand, who were producers of traditional Saxon ink.

Thankfully, their inks aren't actually made from octopus fluids, your favourite inky invertebrates are safe. They do offer a massive range of inks suitable for any occasion or ink-based hobby though.

Inspired by mythical creatures and legends, the sheen inks from Octopus have a magical element to them with some striking sheen effects to complement the ink. These are designed to be completely safe to use in fountain pens. Some other inks use glitter to bring out their sheen, making them higher risk to use in fountain pens, and the extra maintenance that's recommended can be one of the drawbacks to using them. However, these completely dyed-based inks achieves a remarkable sheen effect through use of a very high content of dyes.
