Onoto Magna Arabica Fountain Pen

The design of the Onoto Magna is based on one of the most famous fountain pens ever made - the Onoto Magna of 1937, which some have dubbed 'the best fountain pen ever made'.

Made from high density acrylic, this is a satisfyingly robust pen, with the chased barrel nicely set off by polished sterling silver trim in the form of 3 cap bands, a pocket clip inscribed with a chevron pattern and the Onoto logo, and a cap button, also featuring the Onoto logo. The barrel is inscribed with 'Onoto the Pen' and 'Made in England'. The design is inspired by the passion of Coffea arabica, or Arabic coffee. It's a species of flowering plant in the coffee and madder family and is believed to be the first species of coffee to have been cultivated.

Fitted with a gold-plated stainless steel Onoto size 7 nib, available in a range of sizes. Refill with widely-available standard pattern ink cartridges, or fit a converter (supplied with the pen) to use bottled ink.
