The design of the Onoto Magna Classic Pearl is based on one of the most famous fountain pens ever made - the Onoto Magna of 1937, which some have dubbed 'the best fountain pen ever made'. The Pearl range introduces an interesting depth to the collection.
Made from high density acrylic, this is a satisfyingly robust pen. The barrel features a chased design, with an underlying swirl of brilliant colour which is nicely set off by gold-plated sterling silver trim in the form of 3 cap bands, a pocket clip inscribed with a chevron pattern and the Onoto logo, and a cap button, also featuring the Onoto logo. The barrel is inscribed with 'Onoto the Pen' and 'Made in England'.
Fitted with an 18 carat gold Onoto size 7 nib, available in a range of sizes. Refill with widely-available standard pattern ink cartridges, or fit a converter (supplied with the pen) to use bottled ink.
