Onoto Nightingale 18ct Gold Nib Fountain Pen

The design of the Onoto Magna Classic is based on one of the most famous fountain pens ever made - the Onoto Magna of 1937, which some have dubbed 'the best fountain pen ever made'.

Onoto pens are on occasion designed to commemorate influential historical persons, institutions and other circumstances where a special pen would pay the perfect homage.

The Nightingale commemorates the founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale, who was born in Italy in 1820. This is a special edition, limited to 200.

Made from high density white pearlescent acrylic which has been polished to a glossy sheen, this is a satisfyingly robust pen, with gold-plated sterling silver trim in the form of 3 cap bands, a pocket clip inscribed with a chevron pattern and the Onoto logo, which is also featured on the cap button.

Fitted with an 18 carat gold Onoto size 7 nib, available in a range of sizes. Refill with widely-available standard pattern ink cartridges, or fit a converter (supplied with the pen) to use bottled ink.
