Onoto Shakespeare 18ct Gold Nib Fountain Pen Hamlet Limited Edition
The design of the Onoto Magna Classic is based on one of the most famous fountain pens ever made - the Onoto Magna of 1937, which some have dubbed 'the best fountain pen ever made'.
Onoto pens are on occasion designed to commemorate influential historical persons, institutions and other circumstances where a special pen would pay the perfect homage. The Shakespeare collection celebrates the 'Bard of Avon' whose plays are still being performed, turned into films and studied in countless schools the world over, despite being written more than 400 years ago. All the pens are limited editions.
'To be, Onoto be...' Made using Onoto's special fusion-bonding technique which enables the use of three different pearlescent colours, the Hamlet is limited to 100 pieces, and is a combination of black and white. This is set off by sterling silver trim in the form of a broad cap band featuring a skull motif, and a pocket clip inscribed with a chevron pattern and the Onoto logo. The logo also features on the cap button.
Fitted with an 18 carat gold Onoto size 7 nib, available in a range of sizes. Refill with widely-available standard pattern ink cartridges, or fit a converter (supplied with the pen) to use bottled ink.
Available with two weight options: 25g or 32g. Use the drop-down list to select your preference.
Dimensions: closed 144mm, uncapped 127mm, posted 166mm.
Supplied in a luxury gift box.
