Pilot Capless LS Fountain Pen Black
Pilot's classic Capless fountain pen has undergone an interesting design update, and Pilot have called it the LS (luxury, silent).
The convenient, reliable push-button retract mechanism neatly seals the nib behind a shutter system, preventing drying out or leaks. In the LS, while you still need to press the button to extend the nib, a twist mechanism retracts it. This has resulted in a slight change to the design of the push button, which now features a lateral fin.
The LS still sports the excellent rhodium-plated 18k gold nib, available in a range of sizes. The traditional fine 'medium' nib seems to be a more standard European medium these days, but the fine nib is still nearer to a European extra-fine.
Refill with Pilot IC-50 cartridges, or bottled ink with the supplied converter.
