The 18k gold nib is firm and resilient, and not too soft, cut to provide a perfect balance between the necessary resilience and ease of writing. Choice of medium or fine nib.

Uses Platinum ink cartridges or fit the supplied converter for use with bottled ink. Platinum recommends Platinum Fountain Pen Ink, though of course any quality bottled ink can be used.
