The Pan AM takes its name from Pan American Airlines which operated from 1927 until 1991. They were best known for being part of the modernisation of airline travel in the 1960s with many of the travel advertisements created by the airline becoming iconic and well remembered in the US.
The pen features a hula dancer design inspired by one of their Hawaiian travel adverts. The barrel is made from strong lacquered steel and features a knurled twist-action mechanism on the end, to extend the tip. Comes with a stonewashed pewter trim and a slotted metal pocket clip. Supplied in a vintage-themed cylinder which doubles as a pen stand as well as a protective case.
