Royal Talens Ecoline Liquid Watercolour 30ml Mixing Set of 10

A firm favourite among artists and calligraphers alike, Ecoline is a fantastic transparent liquid watercolour ink which offers a wide range of colours, available in bottled ink or brush pen form. With a shorter drying time than other watercolours we've tested and beautifully bright and vivid colours available in a vast range, Ecoline stand out as some of the best watercolours around.

The 'pure formula' ink, which Ecoline advise is based on dyes and Gum Arabic, is the secret to their fantastically intense colours. The ink lends itself to blending and mixing extremely well and the colours are so vibrant that you can dilute them down with water for a softer or more toned-down shade, mix an un-diluted colour with a diluted colour, or just dip your brush, pen or nib straight into the bottle and away you go! The bottle's lid comes with an integrated pipette, which makes mixing with water very easy, and you can even apply the ink to your artwork straight from the pipette. The possibilities are endless!

The ink is water-based and not particularly light-fast, so Ecoline advise keeping artwork in a portfolio for best colour retention.
