Sailor 1911 Large Fountain Pen Hard Maple Limited Edition Vermilion Medium Fine

Named after the company's founding year, the 1911 range was made to maintain the standards of quality and craftsmanship that had made Sailor so well respected from their beginnings. The rounded ends give the 1911 a more classic 'cigar' shape than the Pro Gear range, for those who prefer a more traditional look. The 1911 Large is a larger version of the usual 1911 pen, oversized for a more substantial feel in the hand.

These Hard Maple editions are made from WPC - Wood Plastic Combination - where natural maple wood of the highest quality is infused with plastic particles to enhance its strength, durability and longevity. This material is also used for golf clubs, bagpipes, archery bows and skis, among other things. It keeps the natural look of the wood, but with much better stability and resistance to abrasion, impact, aging, and damage from liquids.

A metal grip section keeps the centre of gravity low in your hand, for an easier writing experience.
