Sailor Manyo Dual Shading Ink 50ml

Sailor's Manyo inks range is named for 'Manyosyu', the 'Collection of Ten Thousand Leaves', which is Japan's oldest and most revered anthology of poetry. It comprises over 4,000 poems written over a period of 400 years by people from all walks of life from emperors to farmers. Flowers are particularly relevant in Japanese culture and 1,500 of the poems relate to them. Sailor therefore decided to name the Manyo inks after flowers mentioned in this epic, centuries-spanning collection of poems.

The properties of this version of Sailor's Manyo dual shading ink means the ink will shade different colours to their base colours when pooling into areas of high and low concentration on the page.

Manyo AYAME is a green grey that shades purple and grey.
Manyo FUJI is a light purple that shades to different purples.
Manyo HINOKI shades from blue grey to purple and green.
Manyo KOKE shades from light green to purple and green.

Each square glass bottle contains 50ml of dye-based ink, suitable for use in all fountain pens.
