Sailor's Professional Gear Slim fountain pen in pastel orange, with gold trim. Each pen in the Seasonal Festivals range takes inspiration from the 5 festivals celebrated at the turn of the seasons in Japan, known as Sekku.

9th September is known as Kiku no Sekku in Japan, or the Double Ninth Festival in English. The Double Ninth Festival is held to celebrate long life. There are a number of traditions associated with the festival from climbing mountians and drinking chrysanthemum liquor to visiting the graves of ancestors to pay respects by cleaning and repainting inscriptions, laying out food offerings for the deceased and burning incense sticks.

Screw-on cap, the end of which is embossed with the Sailor anchor logo. Cap band is inscribed with 'Sailor Japan Founded 1911'. 14k gold rhodium-plated nib in a range of sizes.
