Tom's Studio Flourish Curve Oblique Nib Holder Sage

Tom's Studio is a little bit different to most pen makers. The first pen designed by Tom was inspired by his wife, Gemma, an avid calligrapher who used plastic mass-produced calligraphy pens which didn't reflect the quality of her work. He decided to take matters into his own hands. Combining his experience as a product designer and his background in furniture along with his experience working in a blacksmith's forge, he was able to manufacture a new pen for her. Tom's ideas for the stationery world took off from there; he founded Tom's Studio and has been using his creativity to create high quality unique pens and accessories ever since.

The Flourish Curve Oblique Nib Holder is a reinvented calligraphy pen. The nib twists in and does not require a screw. The design is made in such a way that it can hold a variety of nib sizes, from a Brause 66EF to a Nikko G nib. It can also hold 3.5mm pencils leads if you so desire!

The nib angle is customisable and the pen is manufactured in a way that the centre of mass sits between your forefinger and your thumb joint, meaning it is neither top nor bottom heavy. Perfectly balanced.

Each pen is dip dyed by hand making every pen unique, and each one is machined from solid metals on a lathe used for making fine watch and aerospace grade components. It's designed to last.

The barrels are made from recyclable materials such brass and aluminium with no glues or unrecyclable plastics.
