There's a choice of converters: for the impatient among you, try the supplied spring-loaded one, which makes it quick and easy to fill. Or if you're more of a traditionalist, the piston converter is available.
As usual for TWSBI, there's a great choice of nib sizes. Supplied with a spring-loaded converter, a spring and an ink cartridge. The spring is designed to fit between the cartridge and the bottom of the barrel, to keep it nicely in place. You can fit standard pattern cartridges and converters if you want to, but as they are smaller than TWSBI ones, the spring will not fill the void. It won't matter, but it won't look as good!
